Mary Corbeel is a Belgian Make-Up artist that works for magazine and fashion shoots, including fashion week Paris. She came to us with with a need for a strong and innovating logo for her business.

We love to meet new people and were happy to have met her. Her personality is bold and shines through, even when we first met up. These personality-features we wanted to translate into a unique logo design.

The first idea that popped up was to create a logo full of contrast. A simple sans-serif font Aperçu is used to form the basic shapes, the foundation. Saol Display, the secondary font, was added to create drama and impact. The beautiful Saol Display font is reminiscent of eyelashes & eyeliner. It's the perfect fit, like make-up - it needs a good foundation or base and great details to show off a persons unique qualities.
